2004 Best 50 Women in Business Scholarship Recipient |

January 25, 2005 Best Fifty Women Remarks, As I near the completion of my senior year at Grove City College in northwestern Pennsylvania, I look back on some of the most academically rigorous and socially enjoyable years of my life. By the summer of 2005, I will have received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree, and I intend to sit for the Certified Public Accounting Exam. I am also preparing to complete a second summer internship with General Electric Transportation Systems in Erie, Pennsylvania. Having worked diligently to maintain my 4.0 grade point average, completing my degree in three years while participating in marching band, NCAA varsity softball, and many other activities and community service events, I approach commencement with a real sense of accomplishment and sincere appreciation for those organizations that have made my undergraduate education so affordable. Presently, I am in the process of deciding which law school I will attend for the next three years as I pursue my Juris Doctor degree. As I continue on in my educational career, I will always carry with me the experience of being honored by Pennsylvania's Best Fifty Women in Business in Harrisburg and how impressed I was with all of the gracious, accomplished women we have to be proud of right here in Pennsylvania! I would like to reiterate how extremely grateful I am for the honor or being awarded the Pennsylvania's Best Fifty Women in Business Scholarship. It has made a tremendous contribution toward my educational expenses. Additionally, my attendance of the awards ceremony allowed me to play a small role among the talented and dedicated women that compose the Pennsylvania's Best Fifty Women in Business organization. It was incredible to hear of the amazing things they have done with their lives and the wonderful ways in which they have touched their communities. To the Scholarship Committee and to all of the members of Pennsylvania's Best Fifty Women in Business, I wish all the best for you, your families, and your business endeavors.
