Maggie Arnold, our 2005 scholarship recipient.

The 2005 recipient of the Best 50 Women in Business Scholarship is Maggie Arnold. She is a junior at Messiah College with a major in Mathematics and minor in Accounting and Business Administration.

Maggie has a very interesting story to tell since her arrival to the United States from China at the age of twelve. She left her homeland and her parents to pursue a better future for herself in the "Land of Opportunity", as she called it in her application. As she struggled to learn English and adjust to her new homeland, Maggie always stayed optimistic and focused on her goals. Maggie plans to go to graduate school and pursue a Masters Degree and PHD in Mathematics.

She is involved in various leadership groups and served in the Presidential Search Committee at Messiah College. Maggie states in her application:

"Leadership to me is being a true model for people around you and serving them unselfishly."
