2003 Best 50 Women in Business Scholarship Recipient

Ms. Christine Sizer; was the first recipient of the Best 50 Women in Business Scholarship Fund. On May 12, 2003 Christine received a check for $3000 to help further her education at Edinboro University where she is pursuing her Masters of Science Degree in Information Technology. She is a single mother of three young boys, a student, a civic volunteer, and a church leader and has two part time jobs. Christine demonstrates the high caliber of women who are eager to make a real difference in their professions and communities. In her application she wrote, "Leadership to me is a combination of being a role model, a teacher, a facilitator, a counselor, a coach and a motivator".
Christine Sizer epitomizes the kind of leader all women strive to be and hope to cultivate in future generations.
